family:
We are a family of six hoping to be as large a family as God wants us to be. Many
people have wondered why we are adopting after having four biological children.
The only answer we can give is that we really feel God leading us in that direction.
People have also asked why we are adopting from China and not the United
States. Same answer - that's what God's laid on our hearts. Additionally, there is
a plight in China referred to as the One-Child Policy. Consequently there are
many abandoned children overcrowding orphanages who are in desperate need of
something that we take for granted - a family.
Our oldest two children - Nathaniel (12) and Alexandra (9) will be traveling to China
with us. The younger two - Gabriel (5) and Matthew (3) will be staying home with
Grandma and Grandpa (and lovin' every minute of it).
We never expected to be at this place in our lives, but we are so excited to see
what God has in store for us after we bring our Mei Mei (little sister) home.
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then
you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—
his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2

We did our annual run to Crown
Center to visit Santa. We also ate
dinner at Fritz's (cool restaurant where
food is delivered on a train) and
looked at the Plaza lights driving home.
What a great time!
