For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a
slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of
adoption. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father."
Romans 8:15
Marisa Mei-Lian Freeman
Isn't she a cutie! This is one of two pictures we have right now.
What we know (on August 18, 2006) about Marisa:
She wakes up at 7 am, naps at 11:30, and goes to bed at 9:30 pm. She eats five times each
day (8 am, 1 pm, 5 pm, 9 pm, and 4 am). Each bottle is just under 8 ounces. She also has
supplemental foods (though we don't know what) at 10 am and 2:30 pm each day. She is
described as a deep sleeper.
Marisa's development appears quite normal. She can roll over, sit steadily unattended, and is
already crawling at 7 months. She can also tear paper, but I am not sure that one thrills me!
She laughs out loud, eats biscuits without help, knows her name, and responds to the facial
expressions of adults. She also expresses her refusal in a simple way (hmm, I wonder what
that simple way is).
Marisa's personality is described as active, restless, and being quick to respond. She is fond
of music, toys, playing games, and she has a ready smile.
The slide show to the left is a compilation of pictures that we
used in our dossier including the required home shots and
happy faces. Some technical detail - depending on your
connection, you may need to wait for a few seconds for the
movie to start or even activate the control by clicking in the
movie box first, but your browser will let you know that. Turn up
your volume because we've set the pictures to some favorite
music. Enjoy!

This is the best we could do with
Google Earth in trying to give
perspective in China and where we will
be traveling. We will post our itinerary
when it is available.
Guangdong Province is in far south China and Lianjiang is in far south
Guangdong. You may be asking - can you get any further south than
that and still be in China? The answer - not much. Click here to get
more information on the Guangdong Province from Wikipedia.
