The flight home went relatively well and adjusting to
home life has been slow, but steady. See our final
post in our Travel Journal and thanks again for
faithfully following our journey!

welcome:
Welcome to our journey to bring home Lian Yuan Qiu (Marisa Mei-Lian Freeman), our fifth
child/second daughter. She was born in the Guangdong Province in southern China and
we're traveling to pick her up in February 2007. Before we go any further, we’d like to with
deepest appreciation thank those of you who have stood beside us, prayed for us, and in
general walked this nearly two-year journey with us. You know who you are – THANK YOU!
We plan to journal (including photos and video) every day of our trip and would love it if you
follow along. Comments and questions are welcome – so please check out our Contact Us
page. You are the reason we created this website - so that we could communicate back to
those who will not be traveling with us to China. Thanks for dropping by and please
bookmark this page and visit us daily while we're on our journey to get Marisa.
Please look at the other pages in our site to learn more about Marisa, our family, and what
our passions are. We look forward to sharing these with you as well as the special times
we'll be having with Marisa in China.
